Does anyone know of a transmission/gearbox that only has forward,
neutral and reverse? I would like to use it with a large snowmobile
engine on a ‘dune buggy’.

Yea, my roto-tiller has one. I also had an old one I was going to use as a
go cart axle or something, but the wife threw it out in a clean up. It
would have been a belt driven posi. Oh well.
