I realize this isn’t totally related…. but… The new Fel-Pro fuel
injection system (From John Meaney, creator of DFI) is going to debut on
the market for about 1200-1500 doll hairs. It has a feature where instead
of mapping injector pulse widths, you type in the air fuel ratio you want.
It uses a NGK wide band proportional oxygen sensor. Neat stuff. Look
for it.

David, can you tell me the range of this NGK sensor, and it’s accuracy at it’s
extremes of range? Or point me to someone or somewhere that might?
Many thanks.

I would suggest looking for web sites for NGK or Fel-Pro. They might be
your best bet. I can only attest to the relative accuracy of the sensor.
I tested one back to back with a $8,800 Horiba (Benchmark of quality AFR
measurement in the industry) and they were very close across a farily wide
rang 11-15 to 1. Close enough for daily drivers but not for people in the
industry. Much closer than the cheapo (less than $100) meters on the
market. Good Luck.
